Handside lane is a high quality single storey extension to a family home in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The client's brief was to extend the living and dining spaces whilst providing as much natural light as possible. A small study and home working space offers a framed view over the garden. The main design feature is a stunning open gable roof, punched by large rooflights.
